My Dad used to talk about the BLONDIE TV series of the 1950's and eventually I would get to see it but first I discovered the long-running movie series starring Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake. That series that began in 1938 and ran throughout the forties remains a favorite even today. Here's a tie-in ad from '39 promoting BLONDIE BRIINGS UP BABY!
